  • Sardinian house and techno imprint AMAM is throwing a party at Arena this Friday, headlined by label head Alessio Mereu. At just 22 years old, Mereu is probably one of Italy's most prolific underground DJs; he's launched two labels, produced almost 30 12-inches and played countless gigs around Europe and the Americas, all without the use of his legs. His industrious nature is reflected in AMAM, which over the course of one year has racked up 16 releases, including an album. The party this Friday will be Mereu's Berlin debut. He'll share the booth that night with a group of recent contributors to his label's rapidly growing catalog: fellow Italian artist Ilario Alicante, Mobilee staple Dan Curtin and Highgrade man Todd Bodine.
