- The White Isle party crew will put out their first 12-inch next month.
Monza Ibiza have a new record label in the works, simply entitled Monza Ibiza Records.
Originally a dispatch from the Frankfurt club of the same name, Monza has been a part of Ibiza's clubbing landscape for years, with past residencies at Penelope, Space and Privilege. Given their strong presence on the island, launching a record label felt like a natural move for label manager Javier Gonzales. "I think after five years as a musical reference in Ibiza it was time to take a step further and capture the essence of what we offer in all of our events," he said. "And what better way than by a label where all artists can express what is Monza?"
Naturally, the label will place an emphasis on a club-ready tech house sound that's "characteristic of Ibiza nights." The first 12-inch comes from Italian producers Paul Cart and Manu L, and features remixes from White Isle regulars SIS and Carlos Sanchez, both of whom are expected to appear on future releases as well. Other artists in the stable include Nima Gorji, David Smith, Marco Faraone and Lucio Aquilina among others.
