  • Berlin techno artist Mike Dehnert will release his next album this March, entitled Framework. As you may have learned from our current label of the month feature, Dehnert is one of the artist behind Fachwerk, along with fellow techno purists Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell. His own 12-inches have come out at a steady clip since 2007, mostly on Fachwerk but also on Clone Basement Series, Echochord Colour and Deeply Rooted House, as well as his own extremely low-profile imprint MD2. His sound is squarely rooted in dead serious techno with a subtle touch of dub, and Framework promises to be no different; according to a press release, the album is made up of no-nonsense club tracks that were inspired by countless hours of DJing and playing live in places like Tresor and Berghain. Framework will be Dehnert's first album to be pressed on vinyl and CD (he's released five digital albums to date). Aside from its 12-inch extraction, which come out this month, it will also be his debut on esteemed Dutch techno label Delsin. Trackist 01. Intro 02. Infix 03. Framework 04. Palindrom 05. Quattro 06.
