- The Chicago disco DJ will headline a release party this Saturday at Horse & Groom.
Underground disco favourite Rahaan will appear in London this weekend, for the launch party of his new re-edits compilation.
Hailing from Chicago, the longtime DJ was influenced early in his career by the pioneering style and musical diversity of Ron Hardy's famed sets at windy city spot Music Box. Now a sought-after jock in his own right, Rahaan is also known for his rare disco edits for labels like KAT and Still4lovemusic. His forthcoming set at The Horse & Groom will be in honour of Rahaan Edits Vol.1, a CD collection due to be released early this year by Spacemachine Recordings. Musical support will be provided by local disco aficionados Jonny Rock, Johnny Chingas and Neil Thornton.
