  • Discodeine, a duo made up of French producers Pilooski and Pentile, will release their self-titled debut album in February. Pilooski is probably best known for his series of Dirty Edits, which were released on the label Dark & Lovely and later compiled for a CD on Discograph. Pentile is a lesser-known artist who's catalog to date comprises little more than a remix for fellow Frenchman Krikor. The pair have put out a half dozen EPs as Discodeine so far, including one earlier this year on DFA that featured a collaboration with Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. Their new album features fresh material along with selections from their catalog. In addition to the tune with Jarvis Cocker, it includes guest appearances from indie artist Baxter Dury (son of the late Ian Dury) and Comeme man Matias Aguayo. French labels Dirty and Pschent will both be releasing the album. Tracklist 01. Singular (Feat Matias Aguayo) 02. Falkenberg 03. D-A (Feat Dury) 04. Antiphonie 05. Ring Mutilation 06.
