- Circo Loco has two separate parties planned for this coming New Year's Day: one at an unnamed location in London, and one at their notorious home base in Ibiza, DC-10. After a long night of partying—such as New Year's Eve— most people would prefer a quiet night in with tea and and a rented film. Others make a beeline for the most raucous, in-your-face rave possible, somehow ignoring their hangovers as they writhe around to tech house. Circo Loco rose to fame by indulging the second group, with Monday afternoon parties whose essence is captured by the wily-eyed, red-afroed clown on their flyers. With this in mind, New Year's Day seems a very fitting occasion for the Ibizan party crew. The upcoming shindig in London bills old school house jocks DJ Sneak and Kerri Chandler with a stacked cast of Circo Loco residents: Matthias Tanzmann, Dyed Soundorom, Davide Squillace, Sossa and System Of Survival. Meanwhile, back in Ibiza, resident DJ Andrew Grant will play with Ryan Crosson, Luca Bacchetti and White Isle fixture Anthony Collins among others. Both parties kick off early in the evening.
