Joker and The Advent head to Ireland

- The Bristol producer and the techno veteran will both appear in Dublin this month.
- By the end of this month, Mud will host both Joker and The Advent at The Twisted Pepper in Dublin. Real-name Liam Mclean, Joker rose to fame with his own spin on UK bass music, fusing dubstep with 8-bit production and melodic 80s synths. He was responsible for one of the defining hits of last year, "Tron", and should deliver a similarly high-octane set in Dublin, where he will be accompanied by MC Nomad. A fortnight later, The Advent takes on Industrialyzer for a joint live show at the Dublin venue. The veteran UK producer has championed techno for two decades, forming The Advent with Colin McBean in 1993, and taking on the moniker as a solo act in 2001. Alongside releases for Tresor and Drumcode, Ferreira's work has appeared on his own imprint Kombination Research. The label has also helped launch Lisbon native The Industrialyzer, who shared a joint release with The Advent in 2007; the Twisted Pepper date will mark the live Irish debut for the pair, and will be supported with an AV performance from DJ Kormac.
