  • Berlin club Chez Jacki is set to host a new night called Turn, beginning Friday, November 26th. Turn are promising a celebration of "raw sounds from house to disco to techno" as they begin their monthly soiree on November 26th. (There will, however, be no party in December in order to make a fresh start come January 2011.) Chez Jacki—the venue formerly known as Jacki Terrasse and the sister club of Maria—has been chosen as Turn HQ, and later this month will welcome Nottingham-based DJ/producer Red Rack'em. Danny Berman has been active on the edits scene since 2004. Under the name Hot Coins he has focused more on disco affairs, while his Red Rack'em alias has concerned itself with deep house matters. It's under this latter pseudonym that Berman recently released his debut album, The Early Years, and will play for Turn's first installment. Joining him on the night is local mainstay on-the-rise Iron Curtis, and Davey and Parrot of Hold Tight Radio fame.
