- The Grid's former frontman reworks A Mountain of One, Woolfy and more on a new compilation for Nang Records.
Later this month, Nang Records will release New Masters Volume 2 - Presents The Time And Space Machine, a collection of remixes by UK veteran Richard Norris.
Much of Norris's multi-decade career has been spent in collaborative projects, from his years opposite David Ball as The Grid to Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve, his production duo with Erol Alkan. But over the past two years Norris has beefed up his solo output as The Time and Space Machine, a psychedelic project that released its first album last spring on Tirk. New Masters Volume 2 shows Norris reworking a slew of like-minded artists, from Balearic outfit A Mountain of One to past Time and Space Machine collaborator Raissa, who appears here as The Mummers. Many of the tracks have seen previous release on labels like Bear Funk and Permanent Vacation, while others make their debut on this collection.
