  • Electro house maestro Boy 8-Bit will headline a free edition of Kill Em All this Sunday afternoon. The past few months have seen a spike in output from Boy 8-Bit, with more releases on This is Music and Diplo's Mad Decent label as well as a debut 12-inch on Tiga's Turbo Recordings. Over the past year, the UK-based artist has played at venues like fabric and Miami's Ultra Music Festival, which should only make it more interesting to see him grace the stage at The Lock Tavern, a self-described "tarted up boozer in Camden" with a capacity of just 80 people. He'll be joined in these cozy confines by veteran DJ Justin Robertson and Kill Em All residents Stopmakingme and Filthy Dukes. On the slightly less banging tip, newfangled act Becoming Real will deliver a sparse and bass-heavy live performance. The event is sponsored by Auchentoshan, which means there will be a "unique whiskey tasting" from 3:30 PM.
