- German acid techno duo fire up the TB-303's for their 8th studio album.
Oliver Bondzio and Ramon Zenker have announced details of their forthcoming Hardfloor album, to be released early next month.
Named Two Guys Three Boxes, the title is a nod to the pair's affinity for modulated acid melodies, crafted with their beloved Roland TB-303 bass synthesisers. The album will see the duo further exploring the boundaries of acid techno, an agenda that has informed most of their work since their 1992 breakout track, the epic acid trance anthem "Acperience." Since then, Hardfloor have become a highly prolific production act, with a raft of full-length albums, EPs and remixes to their name, most frequently associated with their eponymous indie label.
The new ten-track album will include "Silver Submarine," which saw release a single earlier this year, plus the uplifting accents of "F.U.B.A.R," housier tempos on "The Return Of The Analog Multichrist" and the CD-only track "Heavy On Wire," plus two unspecified collaborations with E.R.P, the electro-edged moniker of Dallas techno heavyweight Convextion.
