  • Tech house duo Pig & Dan will touch down in New York for a secret party this weekend. The chance mid-flight meeting between between Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan in 1999 kick-started their long and prolific production partnership, with the pair releasing numerous 12-inch records for their own imprint Submission Records, and forming a long-running relationship with Cocoon after the breakout track "Oh Yeah" in 2005 and the subsequent album Imagine in 2007. Having branched out earlier this year for Ground Factory and Boxer Recordings, the pair will likely hone in on the sound of those releases - main room house and techno with heavy basslines and vocal samples - for their Saturday set. They will be joined by Township Rebel, Merk-E vs. Veera, and Ken Masters on support at the unnamed Brooklyn location. Pre-sale tickets for Pig & Dan can be found right here from RA Tickets.
