  • Isolee is among the names playing at Paris' La Machine du Moulin Rouge for Katapult Festival on Saturday 2nd October. Katapult have been organising parties for ten years and in that time have put together over 100 events. The Katapult festival—run in collaboration with Karat Records—will be their largest to date and they seem to have the lineup to match it. With a career spanning nearly 15 years, numerous releases on the Playhouse imprint and a seminal LP release in We Are Monster, German producer Isolée feels a suitable candidate for headlining duties. He will be performing with his live set-up on the night. Mysterious Swedish techno outfit Skudge are also billed to play live in addition to veteran Chilean producer Dandy Jack. Manchester's Trus'me, on the other hand is a relative newcomer. First coming to the attention of house music sympathizers back in 2006, he went on to start his own label, Prime Numbers, and has made waves with his unique blend of house, funk and disco. Trus' Me will be showcasing his DJing skills on the night, as will his label mate Linkwood. The event also sees a healthy showing of talent from French label Karat. Portable, Philippe Cam and Dolibox will all be playing live, while Sonja Moonear, MZKBX, Laetitia De Katapult and Alex Katapult will be taking to the decks.
