  • Eric Lewis and Merwyn Sanders will journey to Amsterdam on October 1st to play a rare live show under their Virgo guise. Despite not releasing a record together since the early '90s, Lewis and Sanders have come in for a great deal of interest this year thanks to Rush Hour's re-release of their self-titled 1989 album, Virgo, which is considered by many—RA's Richard Carnes included—as being among the greatest house records ever committed to wax. Not only will those at Trouw on October 1st be treated to a super rare performance from the pair, Detroit's Theo Parrish will also be making the transatlantic trip, complementing their space-age house sounds with his highly assorted style. Rush Hour's Antal will offer support in the main room, while the smaller space will be looked after by locals San Proper and Aroy Dee. As part of a whirlwind European tour that weekend, Virgo will also make appearances at Phonica's 7th Birthday in London on the Saturday, and Berlin's Panorama Bar on the Sunday.
