- Systematic will release the Belgian duo's second album next month.
Belgian DJ and production duo Spirit Catcher will release their next full-length, Partners in Crime, this November on Marc Romboy's Systematic Recordings.
Made up of members Jean Vanesse and Thomas Sohet, Spirit Catcher are known for their club-ready style of disco-tinged tech house which they gleefully describe as "Georgio (sic) Moroder on Steroids!!!" According to a press release, Partners in Crime further develops this sound, blending elements of disco and '80s funk with contemporary club beats. It will be Spirit Catcher's second artist album, following 2007's Night Vision. All of the tracks are previously unreleased, except for "Sedona" and "Other Side of the Game," both of which saw release on Systematic last year. Spirit Catcher will play a series of live dates to support the album, though details on those gigs are still forthcoming.
