  • The Rhythm Factory in East London have announced details of a special month of programming to mark their 10th anniversary. The 400-capacity space on Whitechapel Road has played host to all sorts of electronic music over the past decade, and they've curated a suitably wide-ranging programme of events throughout October to celebrate. Things kick off on the first of the month with a techno and house-focused free party held by Code, which will see headlining sets from New York's Abe Duque and melodic techno merchant Max Cooper. Further will take over the space the following night with an evening of dubstep and drum & bass from Pangaea, Kromestar and Sukh Knight, while Friday 8th October sees Technicality focus purely on drum & bass with the likes of Breakage and Andy Skopes. Reggae heads may want to note Organix's free session in their diaries, which will see theirs and Only Joe's ten-piece band perform live, but if you're after techno, Mode:Play's bash on Saturday 23rd October will be the one for you. Swedish duo Skudge will bring their live show to English shores for the first time, with support coming from Costa Rica's Kabuto & Koji. UK funky will be the genre under the spotlight for Rhyme & Slang's party on the 29th, with sets coming from Cooly G and Scratcha DVA, while the month's festivities will finish on a breakbeat tip with Jay Cunning courtesy of Graffiti Breakz.
