  • The weekend of Friday, September 24th will see a double helping of UK imprint Ninja Tune in Berlin. As we announced earlier this year, Jon More and Matt Black's Ninja Tune are in the process of celebrating their 20th birthday: In addition to the forthcoming Ninja Tune XX compilation box set which comprises six CDs, six 7-inches and an illustrated hardcover book, Ninja Tune have locked down a series of European tour dates which feature an assorted cast of the imprint's key acts. The first installment of a Berlin doubleheader takes place Friday, September 24th at Friedrichshain's Astra. Fresh from the release of their Late Night Tales compilation earlier this year, Jason Swinscoe's The Cinematic Orchestra headline the event, and will be joined by fellow Ninja Tune mainstay Simon Green, AKA Bonobo. Newer recruit Andreya Triana will be accompanying Fink onstage, while support is taken of by Delfonic of Oye Records. The following evening at Prenzlauer Berg's Icon club it'll be the turn of Kevin Martin under his alias The Bug to lead the line. Bonobo and Delfonic will once again be in the house, although this time playing alongside DJ Food and King Cannibal.
