  • Juno Plus will celebrate their first birthday this Friday with a special Firecracker Recordings showcase. Juno Plus is Juno's accompanying online magazine, and has been hosting exclusive features, interviews, podcasts and reviews over the course of the past twelve months. To celebrate its successful first year of operation, Juno have decided to host a birthday bash at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch, which may look like a traditional pub, but is firmly dedicated to electronic music on the weekends. For the bash, Juno have enlisted the skills of Edinburgh's Firecracker Recordings imprint, who have been making waves with fans of deeper house music strains over the course of the last few years. Label boss Lindsay Todd, AKA House Of Traps, will of course be present to throw down a mix of disco, house and techno, and he'll be accompanied behind the decks another three of the Firecracker posse. Linkwood—who shared mixing duties with Todd on Firecracker's RA podcast—will be present, as well as fellow RA podcaster Fudge Fingas, while Discreet Unit will complete the guest line-up. Our limited run of advance tickets have already sold out, so those looking to guarantee themselves a spot on the dance floor are advised to head down early to avoid missing out.
