  • The team behind London's WetYourSelf parties are to begin a record label, WYS! Recordings, at the end of August. Spawned in the murky depths of East London venue Aquarium back in early 2007, WetYourSelf established themselves as one of London's foremost Sunday clubbing destinations before moving the short distance down the road to host weekly gatherings in fabric's world-renowned main room. WYS! Recordings will look to showcase productions from their team of residents Jacob Husley, Cormac and Peter Pixzel, in addition to original material and remixes from their core group of regular guests. Ay Que Ver from Cocoon duo Pig & Dan is lined up to be the inaugural release from the label, and will come bundled with remixes from Alexkid and Jacob Husley & Peter Pixzel. WYS! Recordings will then aim to maintain a one-per-month release schedule, with September's offering coming from Peter Pixzel; Rootknox man Paul Brtschitsch and Kindisch's David Keno will both provide the re-rubs. Jacob Husley will be the one to step up in October, as the resident will provide the original material for remixers Kanio, Garnica and Matias Mesteno to sink their teeth into. And WYS will be bringing out the big guns for installment #4: Both Miss Kittin and Chris Liebing have been drafted in to remix Cormac's "Cold." The crew will be celebrating the birth of the label at fabric on August 29th (the Sunday before the Bank Holiday) with a three room takeover of the venue. Room one is set to be headlined French techno producer Oxia and Diynamic man Stimming, with the support slots in the capable hands of the WYS residents. Pig & Dan will naturally be present on the night, playing in room two along with Johannes Heil, Antony Difrancesco, Lee Hume and Chris Halliday. Room three, meanwhile, will be the place for taste of Berlin's infamous Bar 25, as Sascha Braemer, Dirty Doering and Britta Arnold all perform. Tickets for the WetYourSelf's August Bank Holiday special can be purchased from RA Tickets.
