  • Akiko Kiyama will be the main guest at Old Street's Nomad club on Saturday night. Hailed as Japan's first female minimal techno producer, Kiyama has gone a long way since her first 12-inch on Lakuti and Portable's Süd Electronic imprint in '04, racking up releases on Contexterrior, Safari Electronique, District Of Corruption and Lick My Deck. The show will be Kiyama's first UK performance in nearly a year, and her first London show in such an intimate space as Nomad. The 300-capacity venue opened last weekend with a series of three parties that spanned house, techno and disco, and is looking to capitalise on its prime location with its cosy vibe and relatively inexpensive entry fees. Support on the night will come from Sebastian Voigt and Nisekay, who'll be showcasing the minimal house and techno sound of their Lo*kee club night. Tickets for Akiko Kiyama at Nomad are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.
