Sonic Warfare welcomes Apple Pips

- Appleblim and Brackles will both appear as the label takes over Melkweg next month.
- Appleblim's Apple Pips imprint will host a label night at Amsterdam venue Melkweg on Friday, September 10th. It wouldn't be hyperbolic to suggest that Laurie Osborne's Apple Pips imprint has climbed to a footing among bass music's foremost labels since starting out in mid-2008. In addition to a couple of collaborations with Peverelist and Ramadanman respectively, Osborne has signed singles from the likes of Martyn, Instra:mental and T++, as well as giving a platform to newer talents such as Joe, Kidkut, Komonazmuk and Brackles. The party at Amsterdam's Melkweg on September 10th will see the latter two both perform—Komonazmuk with his heavy, rolling dubstep and Brackles with his frenetic technical skills—in addition of course to the four-four/broken beat hybrids Appleblim usually spins.
