  • The second instalment of Sydney's musica party will host Audiofly and Satoshi Tomiie this October. The club night debuted earlier this year with a rather varied music policy, calling in progressive house mainstay Hernan Cattaneo to headline the inaugural event, with more techno-oriented acts Apparat and Chymera in support. October will see the party opt for a more driving house vibe. Audiofly are well known for their tech house productions, having released their thumping sounds on labels like Get Physical Music and 8bit over the last ten years. Like Audiofly, Satoshi Tomiie is an electronic music veteran, but it's under the progressive house umbrella that he's garnered the most acclaim. Renaissance is his label of choice, having released several mix CDs via the longstanding UK imprint. He's also earned his stripes as a label manager, helming the New York-based SAW Recordings. Both acts will head up the party, set to go down on October 9th. Spanish techno producer Marc Marzenit will chip in with a live set, while Sydney locals Robbie Lowe and Alex Taylor will open the proceedings at an early 6:00PM.
