  • 13% have lined up Masomenos for their latest party on Friday, August 27th. Joan Costes and Adrien de Maublanc, or Masomenos as they're more commonly known, this week announced the arrival of their latest album, Balloons. The pair's somewhat quirky sensibilities (such as presenting their album as a mix) have endeared them to fans these past few years; their Welcome to Masomenos label has been as notable for its distinctive artwork depicting cartoon critters, as it has the intricate minimal house contained within. The duo are less than conventional when it comes to their roles within the Masomenos project also, with de Maublanc looking after all production and sound engineering and Costes taking care of DJing duties and graphic design. For their headlining slot at 13% later this month, de Maublanc will be performing solo with a live set, while Costes will round out with a DJ set. Nadir Agha, AKA Ostrich, will be on hand to provide the support slot.
