- The Swiss festival party returns this year with Villalobos, Magda, The Orb and more.
- After taking a three-year break, Vision festival is set to launch its 13th edition next month in Bern, Switzerland. Since its humble beginning as an illegal rave, Vision has switched venues nearly every year—from a ball bearings factory, to a gravel pit outside Zurich, to pastoral dance floors high up in the Alps. For this year's party, billed as "The Next Chapter," Vision will set up shop on a grassy "sun terrace" overlooking Lake Thun, 1,000 meters above sea level. Spanning exactly 24 hours, the program packs in some of house and techno's most celebrated acts, with Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Magda and Sven Vath all sharing the decks. Live acts include Kalabrese and the Visionary Orchestra, ambient dub innovators The Orb, and delicate techno producer Pantha Du Prince. More acts will be announced in the weeks ahead.
