- The eccentric duo are read to release their next full-length.
Detroit Grand Pubahs have unveiled details for their next full-length, Madd Circus, due for release at the end of September.
Following albums like Nuttin' Butt Funk and Galactic Ass Creatures from Uranus, Madd Circus seems to represent a new direction for the Motor City duo, though titles like "No Hoes in My Studio" show they haven't lost their touch. Musically, the record is just as genre-defying as anything the pair have released so far, veering between techno, funk, electro and pop while crooning lines like "there's no reason to get out of bed, cause the buffet's right here." As an added bonus, the group will be putting Willy Wonka-style "golden tickets" in three of the CD releases, granting a cameo in their next music video to whoever picks one up.
