  • Cambridge-based drum & bass duo Commix are set to release a batch of remixes of their 2007 album Call to Mind, collected on a new full-length entitled Re:Call to Mind. Naturally, the Metalheadz duo commissioned some of bass music's finest contemporary artists for the compilation, including advanced drum & bass maestros D-Bridge and Instra:mental and dubstep pros like Pangaea and A Made Up Sound (AKA 2562). But they nabbed some impressive house and techno artists as well, such as Kassem Mosse, Marcel Dettmann, and the almighty Underground Resistance, who return for a second remix of Satellite Song. Perhaps most intriguingly, Re:Called to Mind boasts an appearance by one of dubstep's most inspiring figures, Burial, who contributes his remix of "Be True." The collection will hit stores this October on CD. Tracklist 01. Japanese Electronics (Instra:mental Remix) 02. How You Gonna Feel (Pangaea Remix) 03. Change (A Made Up Sound Remix) 04. Belleview (dBridge Remix) 05. Be True (Burial Remix) 06. Strictly (Kassem Mosse Remix) 07. Spectacle (Two Armadillos Remix) 08. Emily's Smile (Sigha Remix) 09. Satellite Type 2 (Marcel Dettmann Remix 1) 10. Satellite Song (Underground Resistance Remix 2) Metalheadz will release Re:Call to Mind on October 4th, 2010.
