  • This Saturday, July 31st will see London's Half Baked crew touch down in a makeshift Berlin space for their maiden German gig. Currently operating on a bi-monthly basis, the Half Baked events have been among the most talked about in London during the first half of 2010, having initially opened their doors back in November of 2009. As seems to be the growing trend among promoters in the UK capital these days, Half Baked opt to keep the location of their events close to their chests (East London warehouses are their preferred spots) and employ a private "members only" door policy to ensure a regular, up-for-it crowd. And true to form, Half Baked will be taking over a private temporary space for their Berlin bash this Saturday. An arch behind the BVG building near to Jannowitzbrucke—which is said to have views of the Spree and an outside area—will be utilized, and the speakers filled with their regular brand of European-focused house and tech. Shaun Reeves and Le loup from the Wolf + Lamb label will feature at the top of the bill and will be joined by Berlin-based troublemaker Bill Patrick. Half Baked residents Greg Brockmann and Robin Ordell will be on hand in supporting roles.
