The popular Amsterdam venue will host a month's worth of parties helmed exclusively by local talent.
Patrice Baumel, Boris Werner, Melon, San Proper and Shinedoe are among the acts playing at Trouw's Locals Only series during August.
As part of a dual move to highlight local talent, and inject a fresh impetuous into what is traditionally a quiet month on dance floors, Trouw will entrust the entirety of their August schedule over to local DJs and live acts.
The Locals Only kick off will in fact take place on the last day of a July—a Saturday—and feature DJs Makcim from Remote Area and Reiss from Vrijbuiters. The following weekend sees Trouw's monthly Viral Radio and 360 parties rule the roost, with Aardvarck, Cinnaman and Juha playing the former, and Patrice Baumel, Nuno dos Santos (AKA 360 Soundsystem) and Ditty Mennon spinning at the latter. The following weeks will feature performances from Melon, DarkRaum, Antal, San Proper and Shinedoe, until the whole thing comes to a head on Sunday, August 29th: Boris Werner, Patrice Baumel and William Kouam Djoko will all be showing how DJs do it the Dam. Oh, and it's also worth bearing in mind that all of the events during the series will be free entry before midnight.
