  • Sydney-based label Beef Records have locked in Melbourne's Uone for the second installment of their monthly parties at Chinese Laundry, taking place this Saturday. Uone has long been a prominent DJ on the Melbourne techno scene. Having spent the last decade playing almost weekly at a variety of local parties, his assorted bag of minimal, house and jacking techno has become a familiar sound to the clubbers of his hometown. On the production front, alongside his output on Beef, Uone has also forged an alliance with Melbourne label Chameleon Recordings. Sydney's Murat Kilic and Beef Records boss Schwa will head up the support cast at the label party, which is set to go down in the Cave. UK breaks trio Aquasky will also be playing on the night, stepping into the Laundry room with the bass-heavy sounds on hand.
