  • Marco Passarani will headline Lunar Disko's birthday bash on Saturday 31st July. Although their similarly titled record label has only been going since 2008, Andy Doyle and Barry Donovan have been bringing the best in underground Italo and electro to the Irish capital for four years now, becoming an established part of the city's electronic nightlife. Their recent parties have seen them take over part of the Twisted Pepper club, and they'll do exactly that for their anniversary party, helming the venue's basement as part of the Pepper's regular Pogo night. The Hague's Rude 66 is set perform live, no doubt lugging over a few of his prized analogue drum machines and synthesizers to showcase his rough and ready acid and electro, while Passarani will take to the decks for a set that should join the dots between classic Italian techno from the '90s and more modern fare. Of course, Doyle and Donovan will provide support down in the basement, with the rest of the club hosting rock and synth-pop from the likes of Admiral Black and Talulah Does The Hula.
