  • Max Richter's infra score will make the jump from stage to stereo next month. In its original form, Infra was a ballet, written back in 2008 and first seen on the stage of The Royal Opera House in London in November of that year. This new full-length album is said to have been "expanded and extended" from that initial incarnation, and is composed of music written for piano, electronics and string quintet. Spanning 13 tracks and roughly 40 minutes, the recording of Infra took place at London's AIR Studios and was completed by Richter back in his StudioKino and Trixx space in his hometown of Berlin. Infra will be Richter's sixth album release since 2002's Memoryhouse, and will serve as the first soundtrack piece to appear through Brighton-based FatCat Records. Tracklist 01. Infra 1 02. Journey 1 03. Infra 2 04. Infra 3 05. Journey 2 06. Infra 4 07. Journey 3 08. Journey 4 09. Journey 5 10. Infra 5 11. Infra 6 12. Infra 7 13.
