  • Sebo K and Efdemin will headline the next mUmU party at Silo on Saturday 3rd July. The Liverpool event has hosted the likes of Reboot, Ivan Smagghe, Anja Schneider, Masomenos, Michel Cleis and Lee Jones in the last few years, establishing itself as one of the best underground parties in the city for minimal and tech-house. Mobilee stalwart Sebo K has plenty of productions under his belt, but it's his DJing that's arguably his real forte, stemming from a long career behind the decks that started at Alec Empire's Berlin-based Bass Terror parties in the '90s. Efdemin has also caused a stir among modern house fans, using his love of found sounds and unconventional structures to build his idiosyncratic tracks. He's recently founded his Naif label with releases from himself, Nina Kraviz and Rndm, so expect him to be testing out new material when he takes to the Technics. Leeds' Burnski has had a prolific few years with releases on Dessous, Trapez, Poker Flat and 20:20 Vision, and he'll round off the guest line-up in the main room with his sturdy tech house sound. Fellow Leeds residents Matt Long, Paul Kaminski, Brad Mercer and James Pollard from mono_cult will head down to host the second room, while mUmU's own Lee Rands and Harrison will get things warmed up in the main arena. Tickets for mUmU are now available to purchase via RA Tickets.
