- The Polish tech house duo's second album is slated for release this September.
Polish DJ and production duo Catz 'N Dogz will release their next album, Escape From Zoo, this September on Mothership.
Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk (or Greg and Voitek for short) have produced records together since 2005, which is when they released their first 12-inch as 3 Channels, a moniker they use for harder techno tracks. As Catz 'N Dogz, they have a summery, party-oriented style that doesn't take itself too seriously, as heard on their 2008 LP Starz of Zoo. On their latest full-length effort, the duo try to break the mold more than ever, introducing bits of R&B, dubstep, hip-hop and disco to their usual tech house formula. The record features guest appearances by Mothership (and Dirtybird) label-head Claude VonStroke and left-field house trio dOP, as well as Detroit bassist Paul Randolph.
