  • As part of their 10 year anniversary celebrations, Tom Clark's Highgrade label will present a new live project, the Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra. The ten-year journey of Tom Clark's Berlin-based Highgrade "family" began in earnest with the release of Soopa-Fi's (Sebo K, Djama) Rock That Spot back in 2001. The imprint has gone on to enjoy upwards of 100 releases in the years that followed, putting-out a trio of label compilations, various album projects, and 12-inches from the likes of Format: B, SCSI-9, Guido Schneider and Mikael Stavöstrand. Saturday June 26th is the date on which Highgrade will mark a decade of electronic music service; but rather than taking stock of their achievements retrospectively, the crew have instead decided to present a brand new project to mark the occasion. Tom Clark, Todd Bodine, Markus Homm, Daniel Dreier and Dale are the quintet who make up the Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra. Their three hour show at Berlin's Watergate venue will not only be the premier of this new outfit, but also signal Clark, Dreier and Homm's live debuts. The night will also feature DJ sets from Clark, Mihai Popoviciu, Jens Bond, Philip Bader and Sascha Braemer. We're told the group have further performances lined-up at GOA in Madrid and Berlin's Panorama Bar although further details are unconfirmed at this stage. Take a look at the clip below as way of introduction to the Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra.
