James Holden brings DJ-Kicks to Australia

- The Border Community boss will arrive down under for a string of dates in July.
- James Holden is set to tour Australia throughout July, playing four dates under the DJ-Kicks banner. Released just a few days ago, Holden's installment in !K7's DJ-Kicks series is daringly eclectic, with experimental tracks from Mogwai, Luke Abbot and Caribou blending seamlessly with more dance floor-friendly numbers. The same can be said for Holden's club appearances, which are known to include a great deal of experimentation along with healthy proportions of hard-edged techno. The mini-tour kicks off in Perth with a date at Villa on July 23rd. Saturday will see the Brit move east for an afternoon set at Brisbane's Bar Soma, then head to Chinese Laundry in Sydney for a Saturday appearance. Melbourne's The Likes Of You will host Holden's last Australian set on the following Sunday, set to go down at the Royal Melbourne Hotel.
