- Matthias Tanzmann and Satoshi Tomiie mix it up for the Greek isle club's next CD.
Greek nightspot Cavo Paradiso is set to release their tenth compilation, Definitions, this time mixed by Satoshi Tomiie and Matthias Tanzmann.
Located on the isle of Mykonos, a popular tourist destination known for its nightlife, Cavo Paradiso prides itself on offering a cutting-edge party soundtrack in a picturesque cliffside setting. In addition to Tanzmann and Tomiie, the venue has featured dozens of top-tier DJs over the years, including James Holden, Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos. Meanwhile, the venue's in-house label, Nickmar Productions, has released a new mix CD every year since 2001, with Argy and Luca Bacchetti compiling last year's edition.
On Definitions, Tanzmann and Tomiie take control of one disc each. The former mixes up house and tech house cuts by Martin Buttrich, Johnny D and Luna City Express, while the latter delves into some lesser known tunes by Doomwork, Entlet and Feygin. Though the official release date isn't until next month, Definitions will be available next week in shops on Mykonos.
