  • Dave Clarke will headline Firefly's 10th anniversary in Nottingham on Saturday 12th June. Firefly have consistently been one of the biggest independent promoters in the city catering for house and techno fans, putting on the likes of British Murder Boys, Justice, Alex Under, Matthew Dear, Derrick May, Ivan Smagghe, Andrew Weatherall and Hot Chip at various venues across the city. They're currently focused on a quarterly residency at the 800-capacity Marcus Garvey Ballroom, and it's here that they will host their landmark event. Headliner Dave Clarke is a particularly suitable choice to take the top spot on the night, with his varied background in house, techno and electro positioning him well to cater to Firefly's typical musical remit. Gabriel Ananda will also be flying in with his huge controller for one of his euphorically techy live sets, with house music's man-of-the-moment Motor City Drum Ensemble in place to round off the triple-header. Support will come from Firefly regulars Max Cooper (who'll be playing as Xircus alongside Jeet), David Russell and Beat Repeaters. Tickets for Firefly's 10th birthday are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.
