  • Hannau, Germany's Love Family Park festival is set to celebrate 15 years of operation, with the 2010 event taking place on July 4th. Love Family Park may run a similar line-up at the same location, with pretty much an identical premise each year (which in no way detracts from its undoubted appeal), but the team behind the Sven Väth-helmed party are planning a couple of tweaks to ensure that the 15th anniversary is just that little bit more special. For starters, Sven will be truly stretching his legs out this year, with what's being billed as an "extra long birthday set." His LFP performances have lasted up to eight hours in the past so we wouldn't even like to speculate as to how long he might go for this year. The main stage has also been revamped for 2010, while the traditional firework display is apparently shaping up to eclipse anything that has come before it. As is consistently the case with LFP, 2010's line-up is comprised of some of house and techno's most recognized names. Across the event's three stages, attendees can look forward to the DJ sets from Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, DJ Hell, Marco Carola, Karotte, Etienne De Crecy, Magda, Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer and Kiki, while Guy Gerber and Reboot both set themselves up for live performances.
