The WFS crew will look after Saturday nights at the venue from June onwards.
London promoters We Fear Silence have been enlisted to curate Saturday nights at SE1 venue Cable.
Having split their events and efforts between South London venues The Arches, Corsica Studios and Cable for the past 14 months, the team behind We Fear Silence have now plumped for the routine of a weekly Saturday night residency at that latter venue. In the spirit of their collaborations with drum & bass stalwarts A Bunch Of Cuts at the club, Friday June 4th's opening party sports a decidedly bass heavy undercurrent courtesy of FACT, with Mala and Scuba (making his UK live debut) lining up alongside MMM and Altered Natives in the main room, with Seiji, Subeena, T. Williams and Girl Unit all playing the bar. And as it's the opening weekend there'll be a double dose of fun, which means Saturday June 5th sees Norwegian electro popper Annie spin a DJ set and Hamburg-based disco/house producer Tensnake play live.
It would be fair to say that a truly mixed bag of artists adorn the weeks following the opening: Boy 8-Bit headlines the following weekend; there'll be drum & bass from Radio 1 veterans Fabio and Grooverider on June 19th; Buzzin Fly hold their Summer Party with Ripperton and Ben Watt on June 26th; and the French pair of Oxia and Agoria ply their melodic techno trade on July 17th.
Tickets for We Fear Silence's Cable residency are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.
