Pinch, Joker, Vex'd and Skream are among the artists included on the Bristol studio's upcoming compilation.
This summer, Tectonic Recordings will release Dark Matter: Multiverse 2004-2009, a compilation celebrating one of Bristol's most influential recording and production studios.
Since 2004, Multiverse has been instrumental to the forward-thinking electronic music coming out of the city, especially on labels like Earwax, Kapsize, Build and Caravan, as well as Tectonic. Dark Matter collects some of the studio's finest moments, with tracks by dubstep innovators like Pinch, Skream and 2562, as well as sub-heavy genre benders like Vex'd, Emptyset and Moving Ninja. The package boasts 24 tracks overall, spread across two unmixed discs. Dark Matter will see release just in time for Tectonic's new quarterly residency at fabric, which kicks off in Room 1 on June 11th.
