  • Richie Hawtin will be in Birmingham this Saturday for a full Minus showcase. Atomic Jam and Eclectricity have joined forces to put on the show at the city's infamous Q Club, which will be Hawtin's first appearance in the Midlands since last year's festival show at Global Gathering. It's also his first club show in the city since 2002, so expect him to be out to impress the Brummie techno throng. What with it being a proper Minus night, Hawtin will bring along three roster stalwarts to play alongside him in the main amphitheatre, with Magda, Gaiser and Ambivalent all set to perform individual sets. Over in the second room, the focus will be away from minimal and more on the techno and tech-house side of things, with Atomic Jam regulars Mark Broom and Chris Finke lining up alongside Lost Souls resident Chris Stanford and DJs from the Don't Ask, Edit and 4Play nights.
