  • John Dahlback is set to launch a new label this month called Mutants, beginning with a compilation of the same name. The Swedish DJ and producer has had a notably prolific career for a 24-year-old, with dozens of 12-inches and a handful of full-lengths already released on labels like Defected and Systematic. For the past five years, Dahlback has run Pickadoll Records, making Mutants his second label venture. His business model for his new UK-based imprint is simple: "I will be releasing my own stuff through Mutants as well as the other artist’s tracks, and that could be anyone. If you were to send me a track and I liked it and it had the 'Mutants' feeling then I could release it. It doesn't have to come from the hottest artists of the moment." For the label's inaugural release, Dahlback has compiled tracks by himself and others that have helped define his career so far. "'Hustle Up,' 'Blink' and 'Everywhere' have been my biggest tracks in my career," he says. "Each of them has meant a lot to my personal style of productions." Tracklist 01. John Dahlback - Borderline 02. John Dahlback – Hustle up 03. Kaliber feat. Elodie – Is This for Love 04. John Dahlback – Don't Speak 05. John Dahlback & Sebastian Ingrosso – Lick My Deck 06.
