- The third installment in Kompakt's celebrated series will hit stores this June.
Kompakt has released the preliminary details for Michael Mayer's Immer 3.
The mix comes nearly eight years after Immer, the widely loved compilation that coincided with Kompakt's rise to fame, and remains an all-time favorite for many (including the folks here at Resident Advisor, who voted it the #1 mix of the past decade). Per usual with Mayer, the tracklist offers a number of tunes not bound to the current year, including Closer Musik's 2002 cut "Departures" and Raudive's "Slave" from 2006. New tracks like Gui Boratto's remix of Massive Attack and a Terranova reimagining of Popnoname's "Hello Gorgeous" also feature. Closing things out is a special selection: Justus Kohncke's cover version of Round Two's house classic "New Day."
