Shindig turn 18 with Claude VonStroke

- The Dirtybird boss will top the bill for the Newcastle night's landmark birthday this weekend.
- Claude VonStroke is set to headline Shindig's 18th birthday celebrations this Saturday night. Having been a mainstay on Newcastle Upon Tyne's club scene since 1992, Shindig has become one of the North East's most notorious house and techno parties. Currently operating on a monthly basis at the city's World Headquarters club, recent Shindig events have seen the likes of Jimpster, Joey Negro and Marc Romboy grace their turntables, but their birthday bash will see the crew step up their game with three separate headliners. As the boss of Dirtybird and all-conquering international DJ, Claude VonStroke really needs no introduction, and he'll be topping the bill in World HQ's upstairs room alongside Phonica and Get Physical's doyenne of tech-house, Heidi. Shindig residents Scott Bradford, Neil Bainbridge and Mark Lowry will be handling warm-up duties, while the downstairs room will see much more of a disco-flavoured vibe courtesy of Ali Herron, who makes up half of the OOFT duo alongside The Revenge.
