- The French producer will collect his reworks on a new two-disc collection.
French producer Alex Gopher has gathered twenty of his remixes on a two-disc compilation, available as of today via his own Go 4 Music imprint.
As a member of the so-called "French Touch" movement, which includes artists like Daft Punk, Etienne de Crecy and Alan Braxe, Gopher is a seasoned member of the French house scene, with credentials that include playing bass on Air's first album and composing music for a runway show by Yves St. Laurent. On My New Remixes, Gopher retouches a diverse array of indie, pop and electronic artists, such as Kid Sister, Ladyhawke, Kraftwerk and Benny Benassi vs. David Bowie. The compilation is available on CD as well as digitally, with two bonus tracks exclusive to the CD version.
