  • Underwater Records boss Darren Emerson is set to tour Australia throughout early April. Emerson is a true veteran of tech and progressive house, having joined Underworld at the age of 18. Since departing the group in 2000, Emerson's status as a DJ and label manager rose to prominence, linking up with progressive house heavy hitters Global Undergound for two commercial mix efforts. As a label manager, Emerson's Underwater Records imprint has hosted releases from a broad spectrum of artists, with the likes Paul Woolford, Gus Gus and Sharam Jey having all contributed to the labels assorted catalogue. Emerson will be arriving early next month for dates in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne. His Sydney appearance will serve as Chinese Laundry's afternoon Easter Sunday celebrations, with advance tickets available now from RA Tickets.
