- The German electronic pop group will release their third album this May on Italic.
Von Spar will release their third album, Foreigner this May on Italic.
So far, the German quartet have forged a sound that combines elements of kraut rock, disco and psychedelic pop, as heard on their previous two full-lengths as well as Hybolt, their 12-inch from last summer. Foreigner shows Von Spar further along this same trajectory, combining glistening synths with steady locomotive rhythms, and sprinkling the mix with bits of retro, sci-fi camp. The album's single, "Troops," will feature remixes by DFA's Prince Language and Cómeme's Rebolledo.
