- The French producer will release his next album on Perlon.
French minimal house artist Ark will release his third album, Arkpocalypse Now, next month on Perlon.
As with his recent releases on Karat, Thema and Circus Company, the album will sound a bit more streamlined than Caliente, Ark's 2005 full-length on Perlon, though it still boasts plenty of Ark's bizarre flair, with organic textures, sultry vocals and a generally bonkers vibe. The album will feature a variety of guest appearances, including Dolibox, one of Ark's most frequent collaborators, and vocal artists Lippie and Xanax. In an unexpected twist, Perlon's go-to sleeve artist Double Standard has chosen a close-up of Ark's face for the cover art (upside down on vinyl, right-side up on CD), rather than one of their iconic over-sized text designs.

Perlon will release the vinyl version of Arkpocalypse Now on April 12th, 2010. The CD will follow on April 26th.
