- The Yoruba man will headline the Manchester crew's birthday bash later this month.
Osunlade has been selected as one of the headliners for Development's birthday bash on Friday 26th March.
The Development crew are anything but bandwagon jumpers, and have been pushing their soulful house sound in Manchester for four years now, hosting the likes of Kerri Chandler, Glenn Underground and Ron Trent at their parties. For their fourth birthday, they've plumped for two DJs that have previously graced the Development decks: Osunlade and DJ Spinna. The two American DJs are known for their varied but soulful track selection, mixing up vintage disco, funk and soul jams with modern day house and techno. Spinna has also made a name for himself with his more than capable turntable skills, bringing a hip-hop mixing mentality to more four-to-the-floor sounds. The shindig also sees the Development boys move to Sound Control, a new club on New Wakefield Street that promises basement vibes with a freshly installed sound system. Development residents Tom Lynch and Chris Feinmann will provide support.
