  • The first set of artists has been announced for the Communikey Festival's third annual event, to be held this April in Boulder, Colorado. So far, the lineup includes more than twenty DJs and electronic performers from Europe and North America. Some big house and techno names include Akufen, Luke Hess and Cheap And Deep Productions, all of whom will be performing in Colorado for the first time. New York techno party The Bunker will be particularly well represented, with residents Spinoza and Derek Plaslaiko both getting behind the decks over the course of the weekend. Ghostly International's Clark Warner will also make an appearance, along with Circus Company artists Dave Aju and Stephen Beaupre. And, in keeping with their creative dialogue with Belgrade's Dis-patch festival, Communkey has booked a number of Serbian artists, such as DJ Moodswinger, Incredible Bill and Piece of Shh... Finally, Colorado up-and-comers like Alala. One, Attentat and Robert Fitzgerald will also get their turns on stage. Communikey has always prided itself on having more to offer than just untz-untz. In addition to experimental performers like Lissom, The Lucky Dragons and White Rainbow, the weekend will include exhibitions, installations, and interactive projects, such as the Kids-patch Orchestra, a music workshop for kids between the ages of five and twelve.
